rect.jpg
I wanted to draw a rough rectangle. Grabbed the mouse and this is what happened. Don't remember why the rough part is there. In the end, I like the look and I was impressed with myself for the straight lines. I promise - entirely freehand and not painstakingly slowly.

More of me.

The thing is, none of this stuff is repeatable. I need to get a stronger set of known techniques down.

bamboo.jpg
Not my bamboo. A nozzle with Garden Hose or with Painter or somewhere. I did a bit of sizing maybe and some playing with colours. Darker in the back, lighter in the front and some hand brushed bits of sunlight in strategic places. Used the Add to Selection button for Image Hose. This way each "layer" of brances I laid down could have an effect done to it as soon as I was done painting. Easier than messing about with floaters. Painter 4. Makes great wallpaper!

ground.jpg
Again, garden hose or something. I think they even supplied the dirt. Maybe I did. I grew up in New England (North Eastern USA) and used to play outside and stuff, so I really like this picture. Makes great wallpaper!
